iSynergy Document Viewer Upgrade*

September 1 , 2006 -- The iSynergy Document Viewer has been updated with a new verification key. The iSynergy Document Viewer contains a key to secure and guarantee its authenticity for our customers. The Verisign key expires every year and is due to expire on 09/31/2006. All customers using the iSynergy Document Viewer must upgrade in order to maintain viewer functionality. You will find installation instructions below:

Installation Instructions:

  • Download the latest iSynergy Document Viewer here.
  • Uninstall the existing iSynergy Document Viewer from the Add/Remove Programs menu.
  • Run the iSynergy Document Viewer installation on the iSynergy server.
  • Go to Start > Run and type in: cmd
  • At the command prompt, type in: iisreset
  • The next time you view a document, you will be prompted to install the iSynergy Document Viewer.

*WARNING: This only applies to the iSynergy Document Viewer. You DO NOT need to run this installation if you are using the HTTP enabled viewer.

Note to Administrators: You can check to see if you are running the HTTP enabled viewer by viewing the User configuration within iSynergy. If the HTTP user checkbox is selected, you are using the HTTP enabled viewer.
