The iSynergy Connector for eCopy ShareScan integrates eCopy document imaging and distribution software with iSynergy, making it simpler to add, index and route paper-based documents from a multifunctional device into the iSynergy repository.

The iSynergy Connector for eCopy ShareScan transforms eCopy software into a client of the iSynergy Application Server, providing real-time interaction with the server at the multifunctional device. Previews of the scanned documents are shown on the digital copier touch panel to better eliminate scanning errors and ensuring image quality. The iSynergy Connector for eCopy ShareScan maintains an audit trail to the individual end-user and not just to the device – helping organizations guard against unauthorized document distribution.

In addition, the iSynergy Connector for eCopy ShareScan identifies individual end-users, granting them their same domain access at the copier as their desktops. End-users are allowed access to recently used profiles with one touch so documents can be stored quickly, while limiting access to unauthorized end-users. iSynergy Connector for eCopy ShareScan allows the unique ability to seamlessly “change on the fly” a desired iSynergy application without the loss of the previously scanned documents. The iSynergy Connector for eCopy ShareScan supports up to nine eCopy buttons for instant scanning into specific iSynergy applications.

Using the iSynergy Connector for eCopy ShareScan increases efficiency and reduces the potential for misplaced documents. This solution provides simple and reliable capability to capture business documents from multiple locations into the secure, centralized iSynergy repository, and requires minimal administrative training and no end-user training.
