The client is a multinational corporation with offices in the U.S., Canada, and China. Their services include all phases of planning, development, engineering, and inspection of projects in the areas of general construction, civil/environmental engineering, utilities, and transportation. Processing paperwork involves physically handling, packaging, and shipping documents, and forwarding printed materials to their intended recipients incurs significant shipping costs.

The Solution

By deploying the iSynergy enterprise solution, this organization realized immediate workflow improvements and cost reductions. iSynergy addressed the document-sharing issue by allowing office personnel and offsite users to scan documents and submit them directly into the iSynergy repository, where they could be shared electronically. In doing so, the need for physically shipping paperwork was eliminated. Additionally, the iSynergy system was used to track internal contracts, as well as AP checks each month.
