The client is a leader in the vacation ownership industry. The company employs 350 staff members and specializes in developing, marketing and selling interval ownership to clients throughout the world.
The Problem
Staff members at company headquarters spend much of their time performing manual document processing tasks for a large volume of contracts. Contract processing engages users in multiple departments, requiring them to copy, file, fax and store documents.
The Solution
iDatix implemented a workflow solution that provided document scanning, storing, retrieval and sharing capabilities for users in the company’s headquarters as well as remote staff members accessing the system from domestic and international locations.
iSynergy solution initially captured contract documents in a repository, providing a shared electronic environment where they could be accessed and reviewed across the enterprise. The electronic environment created backup copies of the data and images, as well as an accountability history of documents throughout their life cycle. As a result, document control, quality, and consistency improved, and staff response time to internal and client issues was significantly reduced, allowing the company to serve more clients without the need for additional staffing.
